Mexico: Members of Sinaloa cartel arrested ; Wanted in United States

Two of the top 24 members of the Sinaloa cartel suspected to operate in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico were arrested along the border by officials. Fernando Arellano-Romero (24), also known as “Rayo”, “24”, “Gamma,” and “Blue Demon” was identified as one of the suspects. The other was identified as Daniel Franco López, alias “Micha,” “Neon,” and “Fer.” According to a La Prensa report, the two were wanted for crimes including drug trafficking by the U.S. DEA and FBI. Both suspects were known to operate in Ciudad Juarez and Chihuahua City. The two were listed among the 24 Sinaloa members reported by the U.S. Department of Justice.
