Mistaken message: Narcotrafficker accidentally sends text to police in California, USA

Police in Santa María, California were surprised when they received a text message about an upcoming drug deal directly from the dealer, El Porvenir reports. The text contained details about a delivery of synthetic drugs. A spokesperson for the sheriff confirmed that the dealer and the buyer were apprehended at the location indicated in the text. Two grams of methamphetamine were seized from the buyer, who arrived first. The dealer was arrested with seven grams of methamphetamine. Both are being held in the Santa María prison on counts of conspiracy and possession of illegal substances. Read Article
