Trevino was responsible for some of the worst atrocities in Mexico’s recent conflict with the drug cartels, like the death of 265 Central American migrants at a ranch in Tamaulipas. The United States has requested extradition, since Trevino began his criminal career in Dallas, Texas 13 years ago.
