Colombia: Rights Violations, Atrocities need to be addressed in post conflict phase

theconversation.com / As Colombia’s 50-year armed conflict enters a post-conflict phase, the country is having to face up to the toll it took on millions of lives. There are more than 8m registered victims, and today, Colombia is host to 7.4m internally displaced people – more than anywhere else in the world. Atrocities were committed by all sides, including the government, and civilians were the principal casualties.
