Santiago Chile: Man dead from tuberculosis found sitting in chair on public street

One man died of tuberculosis , in the middle of the street, in Santiago .

biobiochile.cl / The death occurred early this Saturday at the intersection of Vicuña Mackenna avenue with 10 July, a place where had to attend staff of the Crimean Laboratory of Carabineros (Labocar).

The deceased, identified as Jorge Orellana, 54, was found in a chair located there, leaning toward the floor and carrying a card that accredited the disease.

After four hours of procedure, the body was removed by officials from the Legal Medical Service (SML).

Although tuberculosis is contagious, it was reported that for this purpose it is necessary to coexist or maintain a close relationship with the sick person. Read Article
