Federal police in Zacatecas detained a man carrying 270 kilos in the false bottom of a truck near the border with Jalisco. Cesar Julián Ramírez Cruz (20) admitted he was paid 15,000 pesos to carry the drugs from Guadalajara to Reynosa. He was arrested after police spotted a suspicious red truck and conducted a search, El Sol de San Luis reports. The suspect at first claimed he was hired to transport various types of cargo. The packages of marijuana were covered with a fat to slide them into the false bottom and beans to mask the smell of the drug. The suspect admitted he had previously transported drugs in the truck.
