Cartel member arrested for brutally murdering elderly woman in Argentina

Two men were arrested accused of brutally murdering an elderly woman in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The victim, Delia Fernandez (83), had walked in on the suspects as they attempted to rob her house. Fernandez was found dead in her home with a smashed skull on May 21, 2012, prompting a search for the murderers. Officials believe she was struck with a piece of metal. One of the perpetrators is known to be a member of the drug trafficking organization “Los Mata Tigres,” El Siglo reports. The gang is believed to traffick drugs in the south of Buenos Aires. The ages of the suspects are 23 and 21. A third suspect is wanted by authorities. Read Article
