Unidentified plane sighted in Colombia; linked to plane found in Ecuador

The Colombian Air Force detected an unidentified plane that resembled one found in a hangar in Santa Elena, Ecuador. One official stated the plane was sighted June 8, 2012, while another report claims the illegal flight was spotted June 2, according to El Commercio. An investigation officially began after Minister of the Interior José Serrano received information that a plane following an irregular flight path was planning on entering the country. Serrano filed a complaint against Mario Pazmiño, former head of military intelligence, for prematurely disclosing information concerning the plane.
