Colombia: Charter Aircraft Crashes Carrying Brazil Soccer Team

rt.com reported aharter aircraft carrying 72 people went down during flight from Bolivia to Medellin’s international airport. A plane carrying Brazil’s Chapecoense football team has crashed in Colombia, reportedly killing some of the passengers on board. At least 10 people have been evacuated from the scene and taken to local hospitals. The plane crashed due to lack of fuel at around 10:15pm local time in Cerro Gordo in the municipality of La Union, according to Mi Oriente. The website reported that fatalities had occurred, but said it remains unclear how many people were killed. Read Article
