Narco-traffickers in Peru run universities and sports clubs

Officials have determined that narco-trafficking clans operating in the north of Peru run universities and sports clubs. The Huancayo clan is especially suspicious and is believed to engage in money laundering for the Quispe Palomino clan. According to El Comercio, these organization attempt to traffick drugs to the north, where narco-sponsored universities and sports clubs spring up. Read Article
