Investigation continues in missing Colombians arrested by Ecuadorian police in 1988ppol

The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, announced Saturday that the investigation will resume the disappearance of Colombian brothers James and Andrew Restrepo, which occurred in 1988 after being arrested by police and whose bodies were thrown presumed in the lagoon of Yambo. The announcement was made during the weekly report to work at the premiere of the documentary said “With my heart in the Yambo” by Maria Fernanda Restrepo, filmmaker, journalist and sister of the young detainees and missing persons.
