Family of Colombian man extradited to U.S. claims negligence in his death while incarcerated

The family of Sincelejo merchant, John Alexander Mejia Gallego, extradited in May this year the United States, reported on his death in a Florida prison, and denounced the lack of medical care by the system, as responsible.
John Alexander Mejia, 29, law student at a university in the capital of Sucre, was captured in May 2010 as part of Operation Dolphin and jailed in Bogota for over a year, said his wife Iliana Ibanez Mesa. Read Article
