Ecuador: nearly half of vehicle accidents involve motorcycles

Motorcycles and tricimotos have become a constant danger on the roads, as these cause light vehicles between 40% and 60% of all traffic accidents, as reported by the detachments of six provinces.

In the first half of the year there have been only 93 deaths in Santa Elena and Guayas, according to the Transit Commission of Ecuador (CTE), an entity that exercises control in both provinces and Los Rios. Read Article
