Ecuador: Over 1100 traffic accidents Jan. / Feb 2017 across seven provinces

More than 1,000 accidents are registered in 7 provinces in first two months of 2017
121 DEATHS, 1,097 INJURED

vistazo.com/ecuavisa.com /Between January and February 2017, 1,127 traffic accidents have been reported in seven provinces of the country, according to data from the Ecuador Transit Commission (CTE). The institution does this calculation in the areas where it maintains monitoring, ie: Guayas, Santa Elena, Los Ríos, El Oro, Azuay, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas and Manabí
These incidents left 121 dead and 1097 wounded. In the province of Guayas alone, there were 628 traffic accidents.

the chief of operations of the CTE, explains that the main cause of vehicle accidents is the lack of attention to the conditions of the traffic. One of the most dangerous routes is the Yaguachi-Jujan road.
