Police are investigating after a medical worker was found crawling outside of her home in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Tartagal, Salta last Friday with severe injuries, according to eltribuno.com.ar. The woman was found by two construction workers and brought to the Juan Domingo Perón hospital, where she works. She was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with a blow to the head, signs of being beaten, lesions around her feet and hands that show signs of being bound and bruising. The woman was in shock and unable to speak at the hospital but told the workers who found her she was kidnapped and had been tied to a chair. Police believe the woman might have injured herself after they discovered tablets of different drugs in each room of her house and none of her valuables had been stolen. They have some leads that suggest a third party may have been involved, including an ex-boyfriend, but have made no arrests.
