Water shortages, emergency Santa Elena Ecuador

The electrical problem that restricted water service during the Christmas holiday to residents of large sectors of the province of Santa Elena prompted the declaration of emergency today. The governor of Santa Elena, Paul Soto Garcia and Aguapen manager, Oswaldo Gonzalez Roca announced still not overcome the damage of a stretch of power line that supplies electric power to water pumping groups of Chongón Dam, which supplies water to the Peninsula.
