Wall Street Journal warns of coffee sector problems in Colombia

The Wall Street Journal today devotes a long article on the problems facing the coffee sector in Colombia. He says he “le cayó la roya.” Literally, according to the Journal, the fungus (roya) spread with particularly aggressive this year by the rains, forcing replant 10 percent of the country’s coffee bushes, about 120 thousand hectares.
