Vargas Venezuela: 17 murders recorded for January 2012, most for settling of scores

In the month of January, reported the stabbing death of the president of the state table tennis, Angel Chavez (47), which was found inside his home with a date of death of 72 hours. He was also shot and killed a dealer, Gilberto Camargo, where he waited for her 3 years at the door of a preschool. These are two of the 17 violent deaths in the state regustradas during the first month of the year.
The figure was equal to the cases reported last December, but down compared to January 2011, when there were 27 homicides. Cicpc sources indicated that a total of nine cases were clarified last month, among them that of a girl of 19 years, Maria Eugenia Caceres, who shot her partner on 2 January. The man is behind bars.
A case that shocked the public opinion was the death of Jhonathan Rodriguez (20), in La Guaira, who was the target of a shot in the head on January 20 when his brother 17 years handling a gun.Read Article
