Two drug treatment laboratories found and destroyed in Colombia

Police in Santa Cruz, Colombia discovered and destroyed two drug laboratories. They were five kilometers apart, according to a La Razon report, suggesting they were connected. The laboratories were strategically placed near ecotourism cabins in El Condor and were obscured in bushes, making them difficult to access. Excessive vehicle activity in such a remote area drew the attention of law enforcement officials, who found 4,440 liters of chemicals and 400 kilos of solid chemicals in the first laboratory. In the second, 4,540 liters of chemicals and 1,500 kilos of solid chemicals were discovered. No arrests were reported. Police suspect around least 15 individuals worked in the first laboratory.
