Two drug laboratories destroyed in Monzon, Peru

Officials in Peru were able to detect and dismantle two drug laboratories located in the Monzon district. According to an Info Region reports, the clandestine laboratories were operated by the narco-traffickers known as  “Pedro”, “Pillusco,” and “Jaime.” Two tons of coca leaves were neutralized during the operation. Gasoline, calcium oxide, kerosene, muriatic acid, and other chemicals were also destroyed. A propane tank, a gas stove, a drain pipe, and other items were discovered inside the laboratories. Police reported that many narco-traffickers in the region often move drugs by night. Read Article
