Quito Ecuador: Police raid house discover military arms, uniforms, active duty lieutenant detained

A few minutes ago, the Judicial Police of Pichincha announced the confiscation of firearms, military helmets and ammunition in a house in the south of Quito. The operation took place yesterday afternoon. “Agents in coordination with the Office conducted a search of the property which reportedly is stored military weapons, possibly obsolete,” the Judicial Police. The raid also involved uniformed Armed Forces Intelligence. At the end of the operation, police seized 12 rifles fire with different prints, marked with different numbers, 8 cartridges of different calibers, two military helmets, a rifle and a piece of metal feeder.
