Peru: Bus ticket sales suspended Chimbote south due to road blockades

The sale of tickets in the south was suspended in Chimbote, Ancash region, due to blockade of the North Pan American Highway in the city of Casma, according to RPP Noticias. This measure, as expected, has created severe unrest among hundreds of people who had planned to get out of Chimbote, the same that forms long queues at the counters of the transport companies to reschedule your trip or demand the return of their money. For its part, the administrator from the bus station “the Chimbador”, Alejandro Arroyo Vergaray reported that are about a thousand people that have not been able to reach their destination by the actions taken by informal miners Huanchuy.
