Mexican army seizes over 22 tons of drugs in Cucapah

The Mexican army found over 22 tons of marijuana, seven kilos of “crystal,” and 500 grams of marijuana seeds in the Cucapah military settlement. According to El Imparcial, the discovery has a market value of over 10 million dollars, though the value would multiply if sold in the United States.The seizure occurred after soldiers spotted a white refrigerated truck coming from Culiacan, Sinaloa heading toward Tijuana, Baja California. 2,651 packages of marijuana were found in the interior of the truck, and the driver was arrested. The drug was easily found by the soldiers, who opened the truck doors and smelled a strong odor of drugs coming from cardboard boxes. Read Article
