Marijuana plantation discovered in national park in the Dominican Republic

Members of the national drug control force in the Dominican Republic discovered a marijuana plantation in the midst of the J. Armando Bermúdez National Park. According to the National Directorate of Drug Control website, 120 plants were found at the site, which is located in Santiago Rodriguez. Other plants were in the germination process. Those responsible for the plantation have not yet been identified or arrested. The plantation was located on a hill called “La Jovina.” Read Article
