Limited Hours for Sale of Liquors to Prevent Brawls, Bogotá, Colombia

•In Bogotá, liquor vendors will only be allowed to sell liquor between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m beginning this Thursday.
•According to Semana, this is meant to prevent fights that may occur because of intoxication.
•The mayor of Bogotá states that if vendors respect the laws and norms about the protection of minors as well as health, the mayor’s office may waive the restriction.
•House deliveries of liquors may still be performed as long as the proper checks are made to avoid sales to minors. Read Article
