Lima and Trujillo, Peru: ‘Quinorifa’ New Form of Child Sex Trafficking

On July 1, 2013 América Noticias reported on a new form of sex trafficking taking place in Peru, “Quinorifa,” that offers sex with minors in exchange for money. “Quinorifa” is where people enter a raffle via Facebook, with tickets costing between fifty to one hundred and fifty dollars. The winner of the “raffle” then gets the opportunity to have sex with underage girls.

One Facebook page even describes how to deposit raffle money into a bank account. Police did not rule out whether it is a large-scale scamming organization or an actual child trafficking network. They are currently conducting investigations of this activity which has been promoted in Lima and Trujillo. Read Article
