Hugo Chavez makes public statement from Cuba

President Hugo Chavez said today that within 6 days of being undergone surgery for removal of an injury, is “open, sustained, progressive, fast” recovery. “There have been met at this time the 6 full days and we are here in a broad recovery so I say: ‘Thank God, thank you to everyone,'” said the president through a special program broadcast from Cuba by the channel state. Chavez said he had not met the 6 days after surgery because the intervention was “the night of Sunday February 26” and ended late at night. Read Article
