Holiday Weekend Still Leaves 4 Dead and 35 Injured in 29 Traffic Accidents, Colombia

•According to Rodolfo Palomino, director of Transit and Transport of the Colombian National Police traffic incidents have left 4 people dead and 35 others injured during the holiday weekend of Corpus Christi per RCN Radio.
•In relation to last year’s holiday weekend, traffic accident have deacreased by 52% and deaths by 83%.
• There have been 696 infractions reported related to drunk driving.
•In regards to the return trip, certain roads are closed and Fusagasugá road will be one way.
•There are 52,000 police officers who will ensure the safety of Colombians traveling home. Read Article
