Federal District, Brazil: Sergeant of Fire Department detained for drug trafficking

Globo reported on August 5, 2013 that Silvio José Ribeiro Dias, sergeant of the fire department in the Federal District, was detained after police found him with three kilos of pure cocaine known as “fish scale” hidden inside a vehicle. According to police, the sergeant received the drugs from Ponta Pora, Mato Grosso do Sul to sell to users and dealers.
