Ecuador’s President issues order to ministers not to grant interviews to private media

The Minister Coordinator of Policy Ecuador, Betty Tola, said today that a presidential order to the ministers did not give interviews to private media, which the Ecuadorian president, Rafael Correa, accused of serving their business interests. Correa asked if the ministers told them not to give interviews, Tola said that “the president said on Saturday that political line” in his weekly work. Tola stressed that although they have not made a cabinet meeting since Correa’s statements that day, “there is a provision and a statement of the President in that sense.” Read Article
