Ecuador requests deportation and extradition for Galo Lara from Panama

univision.com/efe reported the Government of Ecuador hoped the early arrival in that country of the exlegislador opponent Galo Lara, sentenced to 10 years in prison as an accomplice to murder and arrested today in the morning in Panama, where she had been isolated until last May. Ecuadorian Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño, today told reporters that, “with the request made by the Government of the Ecuador, both deportation and extradition, we hope that as soon as possible” the arrested “can serve his sentence in the Ecuador”.
