ElComercio.com reports that the killing of a policeman, Darwin Anrango in the morning of March 19th in Pintag, east of Quito has been connected to the murder of two young Colombians this past Saturday in northern Quito. Anrango was found in a dump in a courtyard of a vehicle business. Police discovered that it was the same place Caesar M., the head of a money laundering network, conducted his including drug trafficking. The crime lab that swept the vehicle of the two Colombians for evidence has reportedly found links to the Pintag case. Police mounted the operation Palma Real in which eleven properties were raided in connection with Caesar M in May 2011. He was arrested in March 2011. Yesterday, Tuesday June 14th at 9 a.m. a hearing was held in Pichincha in which arrest warrants were issues for two people connected to the Palma Real operation.Read Article
