A homemade semi-submersible was found and destroyed by members of the Colombian Army in a rural area near the Gulf of Urabá. According to El Universal, it was discovered inside a secluded drug workshop large enough to contain 25 individuals. The semi-submersible had been packed with 6 tons of cocaine. When officials arrived at the scene, suspects fired shots, set the semi-submersible on fire, and fled. Authorities believe the discovery indicates an alliance between FARC and the Los Urabueños gang, who have made drug-trafficking arrangements. Read Article
