Colombia, police capture militia chief of FARC’s southern bloc

The National Police who dealt crushing blow to the structures of the Southern Bloc of the FARC, captured in downtown Neiva, Cesar Polanco Cerquera, aka “Polo” or “Polanía.” The report said according to research by an interdisciplinary team of the institution, led by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Interpol (DIJIN), this individual acted as leader of the militia of the organization that offends in the departments of Caquetá , Putumayo, Huila and Amazon, which are part of the front six, eight mobile companies, called Interfrente Caguan and the Mobile Column Teófilo Forero Castro.
