Colombia, Military Parade for 201 Years of Independence

•Today, Colombia celebrates 201 years of independence from Spain. A military parade starting from the Plaza de Bolívar commemorates the event.
•According to caracol.com.co, the event has caused the Carrera séptima between the Plaza de Bolívar and the Plaza de Toros to close to all vehicles.
•President Santos and other officials are attending the event.
•There are 6,000 officers of the National Police and 4,000 soldiers of Brigade 13 in place to ensure safety of those present. Read Article
