Colombia Continues to Supply Venezuela with Power

•El Espectador reports that Colombia will continue to supply Venezuela with power from Gaujira through the Cuestecitas – Cuatricentenario line until 2011.
•The company Isagen has formally agreed to supply energy to Venezuela as an addition to the existing contract between Isagen and Edelca signed in 1992.
•Venezuela is experiencing conditions of technical restrictions in the northeast part of the country, which calls for Colombian energy exports.
•The Cuestecitas – Cuatricentenario line has exported 22.89 GWh (gigawatt hours).
•46.59 GWh of energy have been exported through the San Mateo – Corozo line in Norte de Santander. Read Article
