Ciudad Juarez, 2000 streets closed to public access

More than 2 000 streets of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico’s most violent city have been closed to public access by its residents to protect themselves against organized crime, sources said Sunday the municipal government.
Fearful after more than 7 thousand murders in the last three years, some neighborhood groups decided to make their streets and install private security checkpoints with a guard. Read Article
