Chile: bomb detonated at Banco de Chile branch

Lacuarta.com reported that PDI police and rushed to the scene to investigate and establish the background or potential perpetrators. Minor damage to windows and a security booth left to detonate a bomb at a bank branch in the town of La Florida. According to the police report, the explosive device detonated in a unit of Banco Chile, located at Avenida Vicuña Mackenna 7305, at about the one o’clock on Thursday. Not the first time a bomb threat to the local bank, in the month of August GOPE staff had turned off a fire extinguisher with black powder that would be taken to cause damage. The explosion did not leave injured and police working at the scene to find a planfleto to identify the perpetrators of the act. Read Article
