Bolivia: At least 20 die, 30 injured bus accident on “highway of death”

At least 20 people were killed and 30 wounded last night in Bolivia, when a bus fell into a ravine several hundred feet on a road between La Paz and the Yungas area, said Unit Fire.

The bus company Trans August 24, fell at a place called The Castle, about 60 kilometers from La Paz, on his way to the locality of Assunta coca.

The accident occurred on Route popularly called the “Highway of Death”, where falls are common in ravines of buses and trucks by the sinuous and narrow road. Read Article
