Archibishop of Rio de Janeiro robbed at gunpoint of his cricifix

telegraph.co.uk reported the Archbishop of Rio de Janeiro was robbed at gunpoint of his crucifix and ring by three armed men as he travelled through the city on Monday. Cardinal Dom Orani Tempesta, 64, was being driven through the Santa Teresa neighbourhood with a photographer and seminary student when his car was ambushed by the men. One of the trio reportedly recognised the cardinal and apologised but the gang continued to rob the party, also taking the cardinal’s pen, mobile phone, and the photographer’s equipment.
