Iberoamerica Statement from Anonymous comienza OpAndes Libre Fase Perú

Free citizens of the world, the governments of Chile and Peru continue violating the rights of its people, this time by watching all of your communications in blogs, Facebook, Twitter and even geographically placing the source of what is posted and/or what is communicated geographically locating the source of what you post and/or what you communicate; these means that are and should be utilized for the free expression of the people can’t be used to censor, manipulate, and intimidate; Anonymous will not allow it.
Seeing how these governments openly violate the freedom of expression and privacy of every citizen and netizens (Internet user), we have decided to launch an joint operation called Operation Free Andes to support the Chilean and Peruvian citizens in the fight for their rights.
In our postmodern world, the Internet is one of the most powerful weapons we have, so much to us, as to you, governers equally for us as for you, leaders of the world. For us, because it gives us access in real time and without filters to both sides of all information. Thanks to the Internet, we can be free to know, free to understand, free to think and rethink. This is the new paradigm, this is the new world. We understand it We have been wise enough to understand it. Free and global knowledge is what has made us strong, and has awoken us from a long dream into which we had plunged. It seems, governors esteemed rulers, that you have understood it as well. We have noted at a global level, in a continuous and devastating process, you have started a campaign to stop our recently acquired freedom. Sinde law, Lleras law, Hadopi, ACTA, and more are to come. You are afraid of us because you know that informed citizens are strong, because citizens that think can never be dominated.
Governments of the world, we have awoken, and we will not fall asleep again. We all are Anonymous, all who believe that a new paradigm has started, that a new world is possible. We will defend this maturing freedom with capes and swords, until the last consequences. We are those who serve your coffee, those who work in your offices, those who provide your daily transportation, those who teach your children day by day.
You, governments, should fear us, and we shouldn’t fear you. We are one. We are all.

We are Anonymous. We are Legion.

We do not forget. We do not forgive. Expect us.
