Anaconda snake 14 feet long on highway stops traffic in Brazil

An anaconda four feet long was found in 16 km of highway GO-040, in Aparecida de Goiania, around 22h on Tuesday (27). When crossing the track, the snake was spotted by a motorist who reported the incident to the agents who were in the police station nearby.

The site is bounded by the Golden creek and has areas of flooding, which serve as habitats for this type of reptile. To capture the animal, the traffic had to be interrupted by the State Traffic Police. Elusive, the anaconda offered resistance and tried to flee into the woods on the banks of the highway.
