Air Forces of Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras conduct exercises over Caribbean skies

The Air Forces of Colombia, Guatemala and Honduras made “multinational exercise” aimed at controlling drug trafficking through the Caribbean, an official source said today. Colombia’s Air Force (FAC) indicated that the exercises, which began last December 16 and will end tomorrow, Wednesday, aims to “close the airspace of the Caribbean Sea to the flights of transnational drug trafficking in the heavens.” The combined air interdiction exercises called “Honcolgua I” and allow “strengthen and unify languages ​​aircraft, as well as improve and strengthen the control of the airspace in the Caribbean region,” added the army.
