Peru: Shining path demands large ransom and dynamite in order to release hostages

The Shining Path column on Monday kidnapped 40 workers from the gas industry has requested the Peruvian authorities on payment of a $ 11.2 million (8.5 million) and the delivery of explosive materials and equipment communication, in exchange for the release of the hostages, according to a note sent by the armed group, which was seen by the newspaper ‘El Correo’.
‘The Mail’ ensures that the Shining Path has requested the immediate payment of $ 10 million (7.6 million) and payment of $ 1.2 million (EUR 916.424 million) in monthly and annual.
