•The Presidential Comission for Disarmament, Control of Arms and Munitions will set up different working meetings or workshops focusing specific issues of arms and munitions per el-nacional.com.
•One topic will be the production, importation, and distribution of arms.
•Another topic will be the registration, destruction, and auditing of seized arms.
•Other topics will focus on the registration of arms by police and security companies as well as the restriction of arms in public places and distribution of gun licenses.
•One focus will be to develop statistics on the number of arms in the country through investigation as arms are seen as a threat to safety and Venezuelan society.
