Women Suffer as “Spoils of War” in the Armed Conflict, Colombia

•Olga Amparo Sánchez, director of La Casa de La Mujer, described the role of women caught in the armed conflict as “spoils of war.”
•In a report by RCN Radio, she states that from a young age, women are forced to go through pregnancies, sterilizations, and prostitution.
•According to Amparo Sánchez, the women are regulated in every aspect of their lives and any woman that does not comply is made to be naked with heads shaven in public as an example for other women. Read Article
