Whooping cough outbreak on border of Uruguay and Argentina

Detected the first case of whooping cough in Paysandú. It is a two-year-old from Guichon, who was admitted to Salto. According to unofficial information gathered by the newspaper The Telegraph, it is a boy who had been hospitalized recently at the Pereira Rossell Hospital in Montevideo due to a lung condition and there would have contracted the disease. Once detected the severity of the case in Guichon, I led the School of the Coast Hospital, where provided for the transfer to Salto because the CTI of the city he could keep more isolated, given that it is a highly contagious disease by air.
