Colombian police reported the discovery today (July 27, 2012) in the Cauca region of an arms shipment from Ecuador and Peru, which was bound to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).

The array, consisting of 40 assault rifles, 20 pistols and 18 revolvers, was hidden in a rural area of ​​Caloto and would be used in attacks against security forces in the sector, said in a statement.
