Two people in Peru caught with drugs hidden in potatoes and beans sack

Approximately 10 kilos of cocaine paste were found hidden in bags of potatoes and beans in Ayacucho, Peru. Agents of the Drug Enforcement Division seized the drugs during an operation that took place along the Los Libertadores roadway at kilometer 317, Diario Correo reports. During the operation, a bus belonging to the company Antezana Hermanos was stopped and searched, where the sack of potatoes and beans was found. 9 bags of drugs were found in the sack. A ticket with the name of a third person was purchased by two suspects in order to divert the police. The suspects were transferred to police headquarters for investigation. Read Article
