Two Ecuadorians detained off coast of Guatemala with 300 kilos of cocaine

Two Ecuadorians were arrested in the Pacific Ocean in Guatemala, with 300 kilos of cocaine on a vessel carrying, authorities said Monday. The director of the National Civil Police (PNC), Gerson Oliva, told reporters that the capture came after receiving a warning about the presence in the Pacific waters of a boat that had left Ecuador. The army spokesman Erick Escobedo, meanwhile, said that the arrest was recorded on Monday to 135 nautical miles from the Port of San José, in Guatemala’s Pacific Ocean. Read Article
